Actually one could start from branch insets. Instead of have one inset per language, one could have one inset with multiple "windows" showing the different language versions. They could then be side by side. The windows could be like the cells of tables. This would mean first of all creating the infrastructure for having one collapsable (?) inset with multiple lyxtext windows (that should be individually collapsable). This would serve us also in other places (optional args, nomenclature, ...) Nice project indeed ;-) - Martin
