It's a complex document (my PhD thesis, 180 pages), with .pdf, .fig, and TikZ
figures included. I don't know what is taking so long, and I had to switch
back to LyX 1.4.x, since 1.5.0/1 did not allow me to call pdflatex at all.
(And IIRC that was not the only problem, and I really do not have much time
left.) OTOH, I run Georg's branch with back-ported figure cache AFAIK.
Never mind. It was just an example.
