Looks like some kind of qt bug after all.
Anything that brings up the file dialog crashes,
including older lyx binaries.
"Save As" and "Open" fails the same way - I didn't notice
before because I don't use those much.
I'll try changing my qt version, and file a bug against
qt if that helps.
Only if it fails with the latest release filing a bug would
make sense.
qtiplot crashes the same way. So there is a qt
problem, unless I have a corrupt file.
