This does not work at all. Doesn't work with scrolling, doesn't
work inside the visible area either.
Selecting a large region by mouse is therefore impossible,
scrolling will get stuck, and shift+click fails.
I've added support for shift+click. This works only when the selection
is within the same inset for now.
