When you view the dvi, the argument of \textgreek is shown as greek
letters. So, the unicode character in LyX whose codepoint represents
the greek alpha can be translated to LaTeX as \textgreek{a}, without
the need to mark it as greek, provided the preamble contains the
right definitions.
