Actually I wouldn't object, if somebody else did the footwork, and I
would be free to use my inset-type charstyles. We also have things like
computer algebra and phonetic notation support, and it doesn't seem to
get in my way... if TEI researchers need this, by all means implement
it. But keep it out of the way of mainstream users.
