The conclusion was that it does not make much sense to plan at long term, and that discussing features that nobody volunteers to implement is a bit pointless too. I think we (josé) will try to make a list of features for 1.6 before the meeting is finished, though. Personally, I think that what drive the development of LyX is fun and the pleasure of writing a program that we know to be good.
