Mac: LyX menu in French

I just opened up the LyX menu (on Mac) to discover that all Mac  
standard menu items appear in French (and not English). For example,  
I have Préférences, Masquer LyX, Masquer les autres, Quitter Lyx, etc.

I suspect Jean-Marc's imperialist hand here.
