Here I do not have any language defined in environment.plist. My Mac OS is in french and, when I start LyX, everything displays in french. Things to check: - the configure script got rebuilt automatically, right? If you are unsure, run ./autogen.sh. - you compile with --with-included-gettext - you have mac os 10.2 or newer. JMarc
