Continuing in my effort, here is another gettext related fix: at least here, LyX/Mac now shows correctly the translated labels (like Chapitre for Chapter) depending on the document's language.

The trick is to avoid setting locales at all and rely instead on the fact that LANGUAGE overrides whatever locale might have been set. I even suspect that it will allow to use languages for which no locale has been installed,
but I will test this tomorrow.

Possible improvements include moving the textdomain stuff that is done for each translation into a Message::init() static method called only once.

I'd like as much testing as possible from everybody (windows, mac and unix).

This patch is independent from the previous one (and the next ones, hopefully).
