With 1.5, no need to use the preamble. Typewriter font can be selected in Document->Settings->Font So how about something like "If you don't have bold keywords when typewriter family of fonts is used, your typewriter font probably doesn't provide a bold shape. Select a different one (such as LuxiMono) in Document->Settings->Fonts." Jürgen
