Like I said, no, but only because switching languages is quite cumbersome in LyX, since it's not keyboard-driven. You have to take your mouse, then do like 3-4 clicks to accomplish this, no? Would that work for you, or not? I think associating keymaps with languages is a great idea, and it makes a lot of sense to me. But why not the other way around, you switch the keymap, and LyX changes the language, too? Maybe the keymap format could be improved, so that the language to switch to could be defined in the keymap file itself? Andrei
