If you define the whole paragraph to be in Hebrew then you don't need
anything to be setted any further, as far as I understand.
Try to recreate the bug w/o F12. BTW my patch needs to be applied
nevertheless, it affects only mathematics and has no other negative
effects (The last patch, not the first one).
