My LyX compiled 2007-05-08 had no scrolling lag problem.Hold down the scrollbar for a while, release it, and the scroll stops immediately.
Not so anymore with today's LyX. Hold down the scrollbar (so it page scrolls)
for a while, release, and see how LyX keeps scrolling for a few seconds. This happens on linux, with qt4 Helge Hafting
