I would if I could - I have only used LyX once in the last year or so,
which means I have no idea about what new features there might be.
However, looking at SVN, I can for instance see that:
* Reference.lyx - last updated a year ago...
* FAQ.lyx - last updated a year ago...
I assumed that 'UserGuide.lyx' is still the main document for users, so I
looked at the revision log and it hasn't really been changed that much in
the last 12 months AFAICT.
Contributing to documentation is easier than code - because one can
spend 10min now and then writing a paragraph about one little feature.
Even that will help. :-)

But how do we find a list of the features that are in the code but not in
the documentation?
Is there a reasonably easy way to get a list of new features? The release
notes or announcements?
