after calling lyx with the userdir option as follows W:\programs\LyX15\bin>lyxc -userdir w:/AppData/LyX15beta1 the configure script runs and lyx start seems like there is a problem with finding the appdata dir note that %APPDATA% is fine here: W:\programs\LyX15\bin>echo %APPDATA% \\ulysse\users\edwin.leuven\AppData
