No, wait --- I just updated to the latest version in the trunk (something I hadn't done since about Feb. 8 --- I've been away for a while) and now Hebrew seems to be backwards again (same problems as described in bug 3040, except that I think that my settings are still the same as those for which the problems previously did not exist...).

It's possible that my settings have changed somehow, but I checked and they seem to be okay. Is it possible that some change was made in the past month which would affect this (something having to do with locale settings, Qt strings, or something like that)?

As I'm writing, I just finished compiling r17300 (from Feb. 20), and it is okay --- so it seems that something happened in the source between then and now, which affects the Hebrew. I'm going to try to find out in which revision this change occurred (a binary search on the revisions...) --- but perhaps someone (Georg, Abdel, anyone?) knows what might have happened?

Again --- I hope that this isn't all just something that I did with my environment settings --- but what I can say for sure is that r17300 is okay...

It seems to me to be okay (both in LyX and output).

It seems that there are some RTL problems in this file. It would be nice if you could explain them a bit: Is the display in LyX OK, or the DVI output?
