Excellent summary, Hidehiko-san! I even learned a tiny bit of japanese. I don't want to get involved with the input of CJK text, but once it comes to LaTeX export I have some ideas, since I researched that a bit lately. Abdel, it would be nice if you could take care of the input stuff (with the help of Iwami-san and Hidehiko-san of course).
