The addition of /usr/texbin to the PATH Prefix is necessary for newer versions of teTeX to work.)The other part is an improved version of development/MacOSX/LyX.app/ Contents/MacOS/lyxeditor, which enables dvi viewers to communicate with the lyxpipe for reverse dvi searches. Angus did most of the work on it (the main task of finding the location of lyxpipe); I merely incorporated that in the existing lyxeditor file and tested to make sure that it works.
