OK, and what about this example: Qt 4.3 will have a new file dialog: http://qtdeveloper.net/archives/2007/02/05/new-qt-file-dialog/ and I could imagine that it is maybe possible to use the native dialog and to add buttons for the lyx directories. Is this playing with new features?
