I don't get this one. The rest I agree with.
4. For the minimal installer, use more links to ensure downloading.
Using ftp.lyx.org/public/contrib seems to be a good idea. Ideally,
these files will never be downloaded so this will not increase
traffic to www.lyx.org/
Or we could use ftp.lyx.org as first choice - it's got better bandwith I
believe.
