I think this is in the eye of the beholder. I would like to have that
bug back again ;-)

The fact that selecting something in a UNIX application built for
Windows automatically copies it to the clipboard should mean something,
I think. So, the old behaviour in LyX was indeed sane and the new one is
a bug ;-)
