That's a point i wanted to ask ever since i know that lyx/win doesn't support lyxpipe. i know that the windows api has named pipes and i thought these were similar to unix pipes (with the exception that they are not visible in the file system). does this mechanism not fit the needs?You have a point wrt to the lyxpipe/client. However, RPC works also on Win*.
