I'll have a look at it. In fact, I am surprised that 1.0.4 works with
bibtex files which are in the doc directory. The idea is that, since
bibtex is run from the /tmp/... directory on the aux file which is
here, it has no way to find the right bib file, unless the name is
absolute.
