I would like to report that Korean as well as Japanese support for the
lyx-1.1.3 is now possible. The binary package in the rpm format and the
source package in the compressed atr format are available at
ftp://stone.phys.pusan.ac.kr/pub/lyx-kr.
The patch is entirely based on the patch against lyx-1.0.3 by Masahiko
Kawakami at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and the critical contributions for the
Korean input from ChiDeok Hwang at [EMAIL PROTECTED], who is also the
author of the Korean input mehtod, "Ami". All the credits should go to
them. For additional information, you should read the file "README.kr" at
the source or the root directory of lyx-1.1.3. I have not tested Chinese,
but with appropriate Chinese input mehtod, it can be used for Chinese,
too, I think.
I also have succeeded in making patch againt the recent cvs source by
hand. But the command
"cvs diff -u -N"
as instructed in the lyx web page, does not produce the correct patch
file. After this command, the produced patch file misses files which are
in my source directory, but not in the cvs source tree. Is there anyone
who can give me the correct diff command?
If any developers interested, I would like to summit the patch file
against the recent cvs source.
