Hi Guys, I think this is more of a latex question than a lyx question but I don't know who to turn to. Running standard RH6 release of tetex (tetex-0.9-17). Lyx1.0.3-5. Getting extremely stupid hyphens appearing with only a single letter left or right of the hyphen (eg constrain-t). Please see attached (very short) lyx file. I haven't seen this before! Looked through the tex archives and shouldn't be having any troubles with the version I'm running: tex -version TeX (Web2C 7.3) 3.14159 kpathsea version 3.3 Have tried resetting the hyphen length using \renewcommand{\lefthyphenmin}{3} \renewcommand{\righthyphenmin}{3} to no avail. Only way I've been able to over come this is by using \hyphenation (eg \hyphenation{constraint}). Has anybody seen this before? A simpler approach is to estimate the pressure and pressure gradient at a particular location using four closely located existing points within the FE mesh, a process that automatically defines the \begin_inset Quotes eld \end_inset sensor \begin_inset Quotes erd \end_inset configuration as well. The following approach is only suitable when the non-dimensional microphone spacing is small, ie when \begin_inset Formula \( 2kh<1 \) \end_inset or \begin_inset Formula \( 2h<\lambda /2\pi \) \end_inset . This is approximately the same constraint for modal analysis of FE models, namely that there be at least 6 elements per wavelength. Therefore, the following approach is suitable within the frequency bandwidth defined by the FE modal model. \the_end
