I didn't get any complaints about Mathed at all.  Everyone who uses LyX
seemed very impressed by it though.  No complaints about mouse selection
either so I figure that means they use keyboard selection like me or don't
make mistakes in entering their formulas.

Those who had never used LyX before had a hard time believing that they
could just type in their formula and have it display as they type.  They
all thought they'd edit the latex text equivalent, hit enter, and then
we'd render it.

If you know how to fix it, it would probably be a good idea.  I've never
looked at or used the multipart doc support myself.  It is arguably a bug
fix after all.
