I've added the (sadly neglected until now) Portugese and Slovene
translations to the Devvie translations page. If there's anyone else who's
(seriously) working on translations, they should let me (or their language
contact, if there already is one!) know. We're up to ten languages right
now, which *I* think is thrilling. How long til' we've got 20?

Of course, I don't have to say "devvie translation page" because the
www.lyx.org translation page doesn't seem to exist yet. I can't imagine
why! Yes, this paragraph is a hint to Those Who Matter, although perhaps
it's a bit too blatant to be called a hint.

Anyway, I also added a note to the translation page, and wanted to remind
anyone who's already working on a translation. When you translate
the Tutorial, it would be good to translate the tutorial example documents
(lib/examples/example_raw.lyx and example_lyxified.lyx) as well. IMO, a
version of LyX with translated splash menus and error messages,
Intro, Tutorial, and Tutorial example documents is (almost)
fully usable by a newbie who speaks no English and knows no LaTeX. Which
includes a few billion people :)

English example docs might be a bit confusing (especially the English
hints!) to someone reading the Tutorial in another language. And they're
very short, so they should be easy to translate. (In fact, I suspect it will
take almost no extra time if you translate them in parallel with the
Tutorial.) Translating the UG is a commendable goal, but it takes a bit more
organization and work.

I'll be updating the page again when the new DocStyle comes out, and
whenever I hear about new languages or new files for exisiting languages.

Keep up the good work, folks!
