Hi JMarc,
I just tried to do what Paul was asking for. I selected My Address and
filled it in, then went to the beginning of My Address and selected
Paragraph, Space Above 2in.
View Postscript. No extra space appeared. I went back an to Paragraph
and selected keep. I got an extra blank page, but the second page had
the address on it with no extra space above. Then I figured I would just
make a more real looking letter and selected Opening and typed Dear
John, Closing and type Yours Truly and then update PostScript gave me an
error in Opening, no line to end. At this point I went to Help Tutorial,
and started over with a letter template. Thats when things started going
down hill. It told me the order I filled in items was important, e.g.
that Signature had to come before Opening. But look at the pull down
list. Signature is between Opening and Closing. Then I tried to just
follow the stupid rules and fill in a letter and put some extra space
above the letter to leave room for a pre-printed letterhead. No success.
IMO this style is completely broken, and the template even more so. At
the very least, if there needs to be an enforced order, the pull down
list should reflect that, and items should not even appear until the
prerequisites have been met. I'll take a look at it myself and try to
come up with some fixes.
