I need help guys: we are almost done with the lyx-users list transfer,
but I just do not understand what Martin wants to do. Perhaps I am
missing something obvious.
I suggested the following schedule to Martin:
1) Announce on the users list that the list will be out of service for
a short period of time.
2) Send the subscribers' list to me, so I can subscribe all to the new
list.
3) After Martin receives my message that I completed the subscription,
he can set up the aliases that forward mail sent the old addresses to
the new list address.
Martin says: freezing service is not necessary. Yesterday, he sends
me the subscriber's list, and then says
> No I will send you an update after you established you side. Simply make a
> diff on todays list and the list after the update. All request will be
> forwarded to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Me:

Martin:

Me:

What the heck am I missing here? What is the logic of me getting the
subscribers' list twice?
Thx,
