Since I submited this patch, I was asked to improve some points (to make it more
suitable within
the lyx project and promote this patch to a permanent feature), and write some
documentation.
I did the requested changes, but I am still behind in the docs part. In fact
your request could be that
little push I needed to finish it up.
I can give you my patch (the most recent one), and we can discuss the
instalation/usage by e-mail.
Maybe you can give feedback for futher improvements.
I have being using this noweb/lyx combination at my job, and so far I did 3
complete programs (~110, ~80, ~150
pages respectivelly). My only regret was not to have done this patch before.
I read the comments from Norman. I feel the need to have the on-line cross
reference too. I had the idea that
if we create an inset class for scraps (He calls them chunks) and combine it
with the lyx feature of jumping from
label reference to label definition we can do it. But this is a much longer
project them that patch I did.....
