You're right. Why don't you add that and, if no one complains, check it in.
I know we're not thinking about 1.1 right now, with the deadline and all,
but I notice that the 1.1 README wasn't updated when the 1.0 README was. So
it still has all the old mailing list stuff, etc. It also says that for
production work you should use v0.12!
