Hi, I found LyX and guessed that would be the perfect idea
to get people using LaTeX instead of stupid MS-Word.
I have been using LaTeX+CJK package for Chinese documents in LaTeX.
CJK did a great job and it is an add-on package which can work with
LaTeX2e. I know LyX can not let me edit Chinese but I can
cut-and-paste Chinese characters from CXTERM or other windows
capable of showing Chinese and then I can use all other LyX features.
The only problem is : As you may know, Chinese character is 2-byte
character which will screw up LyX exported latex file.
Is there any method to prevent this ? Or Will LyX will support
2-byte characters like Chinese, Japanese ??
CJK can be obtained from CTAN://languages/chinese/CJK
