OK. After compiling and installing LyX 1.0.0pre4, I cannot use
localization info at all. I type

LC_ALL=no ~/opt/PUBlyx/bin/lyx
LC_ALL=de ~/opt/PUBlyx/bin/lyx

and get nothing. Then, I do the following things:

$ cd ~/opt/PUBlyx/share
$ ln -s ../lib/locale

After that, I can see Deutch version (LC_ALL=de) but still cannot the
see norsk one. I don't understand why.

Today, I've looked at Deutch version and found, that I suffer the
same problems, as in Russian localization: I don't see some messages
in German. And they are not the same as in Russian: in German I see
Import->Ascii Text as Lines in English, but in Russian --- Register,
History and some other items in Version Control.

Some words about my system:

$ uname -a
SunOS grimgerde 5.5 Generic_103093-10 sun4m sparc SUNW,SPARCstation-5

I think, that as for today, we can simply check my job. Please, start
LyX with Russian locale, and make sure, that it doesn't have items in
English. Please, report me, if you'll see something.
