Hi Russell (and luv-main), On a somewhat different, but related topic:
I've noticed from your posts that you've been using your Pinephone Pro. With mine, I have trouble with phone calls. The phone can make and receive calls, but there's no sound. I've looked on the Pine64 forums. It seems to be a known problem with audio routing. Some people have it; some don't. I've followed various suggestions for fixing it, but none have worked for me. I'm running Phosh on Mobian. Maybe you're running a different setup, like Plasma on Manjaro, or have made your own tweaks? Do you have working phonecalls (with audio) on your PPP? This has meant that I've mostly used my PPP as a mini-tablet with cellular connectivity, not as a phone. I'd prefer Mobian, because Manjaro lacks some packages I like to use (mostly Haskell based, like git-annex and pandoc). But I guess I'd switch to a different distro if it meant having a working phone as phone. Anyway, any insights and advice you can give would be much appreciated. — Smiles, Les. _______________________________________________ luv-main mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
