You still have to consider that power outages don't always come with a supplier warning.

Lightning, distribution transformers going kerblooie, motor vehicle vs power pole,
damaged ceramic insulators etc.

So a UPS is still a very good idea.

My only suggestion is to consider whether an uninterruptable power supply would be worth the investment in your situation. In my case, both of the computers are laptops, so the problem doesn't arise, except for the router and the cable modem.
