I have not used Debian kFreeBSD.

A few questions:

"Despite the reduced scope" (quoting from above)

What does that mean? Actually, how much of the FreeBSD userland is used in
Debian?

Secondly: I always considered it a bit of "academic value". Do you have
"real world examples" of Debian kFreeBSD?
