Well, there a couple of things that you might find useful

To select new wallpaper
 =================
Right-click on the Desktop
Click on Desktop Preferences
Click on the filename next to the text "Wallpaper"
You should now see a dialog box listing the installed wallpapers. (It also
tells you the directory that the wallpaper files are kept in).

To do Other Things with the Desktop Wallpaper and other things.
===============================================
Go to the main menu, select Preferences -> Openbox Configuration Manager

HTH,

Ian
