Hi everyone! If I start Lubuntu 16.04 32-bit live image (lubuntu-16.04-desktop-i386.iso) on a Dell Latitude D510 with Intel Pentium M 1.86 GHz and 1280 MiB of RAM and click "Try Lubuntu" I get a blank screen with a cursor blinking in top left corner. After some time the following error is displayed:
[drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun which is mentioned at https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95461 But if I boot the same laptop with newer lubuntu-16.04.1-desktop-i386.iso that error does not occur and Lubuntu desktop environment starts fine. lspci reports VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 03) Also, it the later case the installation was OK and Lubuntu runs fine. So, this is just FYI. -- rpr. -- Lubuntu-users mailing list Lubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/lubuntu-users
