@Peter: Thanks for the reply . . . I'll check into your suggestions in a few days . . . iBook is now shelved. I had it stacked higher on a book so it made typing on it more cumbersome . . . I'll go back to using a lower book or plugging in a keyboard and see if the problem continues--rather than messing with the system . . . .
