Hi everybody, I think it would be a good idea to merge with the xubuntu community, so I am happy reading about the current discussions about cooperation.
They have a good web site for beginners and everyday users, free from technical details and insider speak. The managers know how to write for the web, which is difficult and different from other kinds of writing. Neither Xubuntu nor Lubuntu has enough day-to-day contents to need a separate site. The information is more or less static in the half year between releases. The two distros are targeting the same users, who have middle-age or old hardware that does not work well with standard Ubuntu (Unity), who do not like spyware or simply like the Ubuntu engine behind the curtain, but do not like Unity.
