Lubuntu-qa and Lubuntu-users, Please, I invite you to test the patch described below.
I've just tested on a saucy fresh installation and the patch worked fine. It'd be nice if at least one more person could test it for sanity check. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/1205384 Best regards, Iberê ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Julien Lavergne <julien.laver...@gmail.com> Date: 2013/11/14 Subject: [Bug 1205384] Re: Lock can be circumvented by switching to console To: ibere.fernan...@gmail.com A fixed package will be available in https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu- dev/+archive/staging The fix is based on the script Jarno Suni submitted. It re-install xscreensaver by default, but only start it when you launch lxlock. It also removes the lightdm method for locking the screen. Please test it and report back if it's working for you. -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1205384 Title: Lock can be circumvented by switching to console To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lxde/+bug/1205384/+subscriptions -- https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Ibere-Fernandes -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa Post to : lubuntu-qa@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
