The team has depended on me for quite some time when it comes to iso-testing. I typically used that box with the VIA P4M800 chipset to test the i386 images. that won't be possible due to that bug.
And, while that chipset slightly sucks, it has been supported since Gutsy .............. it still runs great in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS so I needn't worry about support for another three years, but the real point is that the Saucy X-stack breaks it's usage even with low resource window managers. Lance PS: I maintain 23 boxes with that chip so upgrading all 23 is NOT an option, unless I win the lottery. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa Post to : lubuntu-qa@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-qa More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
