They were, but I don't know Yuri personally, and no explanation was provided as to *why* both are needed. Doing packaging (and seed-file) changes based on one user's assertion seems unwise to me. I verified the need for the gir1.2-gudev-1.0 package, so that's what I pinged Julien about earlier. I'm now at home, playing with usb-creator in a Raring VM... once I duplicate Yuri's results rgarding python-gudev too, I'll create a test usb-creator-gtk package that Recommends: both of these packages, and stick it in my PPA (or somewhere!) so others can test it on raring and report their results. > I continued testing and added comment #15 which is a rather detailed > report.
