I think the draft could improve if the split boundaries were to be clearly defined. [LES:] Egads!! The consequences of allowing that would be highly undesirable. It would change parsing logic to require multiple LSPs to correctly parse a single codepoint and require an indication of ordering i.e., which TLV is the first in a set, which is the second, etc. No way! V10 of the draft has been published with the additional language I mentioned earlier: “Each TLV that is part of an MP-TLV MUST be parsable independent of other TLVs in the MP-TLV. Breaking of a single sub-TLV or other data unit across TLVs MUST NOT be done.” Les
