Faisal,

I have appreciated your efforts many times in the past and would like to
complement your ideology once again. I see the biggest the problem with us
is that we can talk hours and hours on shortcomings of "Muslim Umma" but why
don't we realize that I "Hammad Rabbani" or "XYZ" is the Muslim umma. Are
we doing what we suppose to? Everyone just put him/herself on the
right path, work honestly, care about poor and ill-ones, give time and money
to bring improvement in the life of suffering people around him/her. The is
"the Only" way to bring change. We can talk for next 100 years about the
problem and not-doings of Muslim Umma and let me predict that we will get
nowhere!!

We are enemies of ourselves more than anyone else. We always want some
Leader or Savior to come and get us out of our problems. One must
understand that leader are created from within a nation, the nation who can
only criticize and lacks actions may never be able to generate any good
leader. Allah says "like people, like rulers", therefore, I don't blame
Zardari, I blame myself.

I would also like to highlight here that we need to put our priority right.
I do not help poor, I do not help patients, I do not give Zakat (or
charity), all of which are highly ranked deeds in Islam as well as any
civilized society but when it comes to "Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi" (animal sacrifice
on Eid-ul-Aza – mind it its only sunnat, not "Farz"), I spent thousands of
rupees to feed meat to non-deserving. How could I do that when I know that
people around me are dying for medicines, roti and basic necessities of
life?

Please please please, think what we are doing? Think where we are going as a
muslim, above all as a Human. The Muslim Umma will change the day I and you
are changed, so lets not worry about Umma, Worry about ourselves.

Kind regards,

Hammad
