As you said "The kernel is not specific to Android", did you mean the
kernel source code I have downloaded is not the right one?

I followed what you saied in your blog, download the android linux
kernel by using "git clone git://android.git.kernel.org/kernel/common.git",
but it report the server not accessable
android.git.kernel.org[0: 149.20.4.77]: errno=Connection timed out
fatal: unable to connect a socket (Connection timed out)

"Try get the kernel source from LLC GIT",
would you please send me a link as I can not find it.
