Neste artigo eu explico em particular como e porque estou usando a
expressao *universal logic*
e faz algumas analises criticas de expressoes tais que
*logical pluralism*, "non-classical logics" , *cognitives sciences",

Vam ai alguns extratos:

"The semantic network of *universal* does not include only the *universe*,
but also *university*,
*universal gravitation*, *universal quantifier*, *universal declaration of
human
right*, *universal salvation*. This is a very powerful word, having
religious, political,
physical and logical dimensions, that should be used carefully"

"Logical pluralism promotes plurality rather than unity. It is in the line
with putting an “s” everywhere; physics, mathematics, religions, logics."

"The non-classical logicians are in fact most of the time roaming around
the house
of classical logic, this is their reference point. Some want to burn the
old house and
build a brand new one. Others want to improve it, extending it with many
operators:
modalities, branching quantifiers, etc. Some guys just construct their own
little house
close by."

"Cognitive science is maybe the highest
tentative of interdisciplinarity and at least it succeeded in unifying
around an
idea, a word. But behind the word there is a lot of
confusion/heterogeneity."
