This is where you have to decide if your an actor on behalf of the Ubuntu California Local Community, or an individual associated with other individuals in the Local Community. In my travels, I hardly ever say I'm a member of the Massachusetts Local Community; because that's a level of bureaucracy that doesn't really mean much when I'm trying to explain Ubuntu. Being a part of a group can give you added credibility in certain situations though. So it's worth picking and choosing when to be a member speaking on behalf of your local community. +1 for getting rid of LoCo in conversation though. We ditched that years ago.
