ffmpeg might have support for wmv9 by now, downloading w32codecs is just
as illegal (and the same illigal) as downloading the fluendo codecs.
Copyright infringement.

That's why support is slowly getting put into the FOSS codecs for all
these formats. To reduce the need for w32codecs and things like it.
